About Me

Sharda Beharry has over 8 years experience working in both education and the IT industry in Trinidad and Tobago. She is currently working in an IT role in the public sector and lectures at the University of the West Indies with the Department of Computing and Information Technology.

Currently her research pursuits are focused on the delivery of industry relevant IT programmes at tertiary level, effective technology in education and using technology to promote road safety.



Sharda has a Master of Philosophy in Computer Science and holds a Bachelor of Science (first class honours) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of the West Indies.
